Elisabeth Pedersen
Elisabeth Pedersen’s research focuses on questions regarding the development of creative caring relations between human/non-human life, focusing on the context of community gardens in Prague. Her work utilizes the framework of feminist political ecology. She is most interested in exploring modes of responding to the climate crisis that avows the maintenance, protection, and care of human and non-human life through interdependent and relational practices. While a fundamental concept of this research on the concept of creativity, which is understood as the development of means to support life, this research will also use a creative methodological approach. Elisabeth grounds her work in a passion for the intrinsic worth of all life- both human and non-human, efforts toward transformative social change, and spaces of connection, community, and resistance.
