Gesellschaft für Soziologie (GSU)

The "Gesellschaft für Soziologie at the University of Graz" (GSU) is a scientific association that aims to contribute to the scientific and public discussion of sociologically relevant topics and problems through its events (lectures, colloquia, conferences, workshops). The aim is to provide a broad sociological perspective and reference to the international state of research. With its activities, the GSU aims to intensify communication within the scientific community and, in particular, to offer young academics and students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and make international contacts, while also providing an interested public with insights into sociological thinking, analytical methods and research results.
