Susanne Kink, MA
Susanne Kink studied sociology at University of Graz and obtained her master (focus on Sociology of Gender) in 2010. Currently she is phd candidate in sociology (Gendering of Academic Cultures in Natural Sciences) at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences in Graz and external phd candidate at the RWTH Aachen University and former was a member of the doctoral programme ‘Interdisciplinary Gender Studies’.
Since May 2013 she is university assistant at the Department of Sociology in the research area ‘Sociology of Gender & Gender Studies’. Previously she worked in different projects i.a. ‘Work Life Balance in Science’ (November 2012-April 2013) and ‘Gendering of Boundary Work in Science’ (November 2010-June 2012) at Graz University and ‘FEMTEC Styria’(2007-2008) at the Inter-University Research Centre for Technology, Work and Culture (IFZ) Graz.
In January 2013 she was elected in the board of the ÖGS-section ‘Feminist Theory and Gender Studies’. She is member of the working group ‘Queer STS’ (AG Queer STS, 2013, Geschlechterwissen in der Hirnforschung - Ein queerer Blick aus den Science and Technology Studies.
